Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect from a DripCycle class?
DripCycle’s signature workout Drip45 is an immersive, rhythm based, full body workout experience led by top instructors in the industry. For 45 exhilarating minutes, we ride to the beat of the music on high performance stages bikes and utilize the resistance wheel to build strength and confidence. Drip45 also features a free weight arm section and motivational “hill” that may or may not cause you drip from your eyeballs (I’m not crying, you’re crying!). The lights are dim, the music is loud and this mission is to build strong riders and an even stronger sense of community. Come ready to work and leave feeling strong, inspired and, of course, dripping in sweat.
I’m new to indoor cycling. Are classes for all levels?
DripCycle is for everyone; come as you are, regardless of your age, experience or fitness level. Our classes are designed to push you but, ultimately, you are in total control of your experience. Listen to your body, go at your own pace and take breaks when you need to. Riding out of the saddle and executing choreography is totally optional.
What should I wear?
Wear what you feel good in and be prepared to sweat! We recommend form-fitting, sweat-wicking athletic attire like sports bras, tank tops, leggings, or shorts. Bottoms should fit tight at the ankle to avoid getting tangled in the bike pedals. If you tend to sweat a lot, we suggest bring a change of clothes for after class.
Do I need special shoes?
YES! Indoor cycling shoes with cleats that are Look Delta or SPD compatible are required. You are welcome to bring your own or borrow some from us. We have rentals shoes in all sizes at the front. They are free your first time and $3 each time after.
Anything else I need for class?
You will need water and a towel but we’ve got you covered! We have a filtered water refill station and water for sale if you forget your water bottle. There will be a towel on every bike for you to use during class and you’ll also be given a eucalyptus towel to cool off with at the end of class.
How early should I arrive at the studio for class?
If it’s your first time, please arrive at least 15 minutes early so our studio staff can check you in, show you around the studio and help you properly set up your bike. After your first class, plan to get to the studio no later than 5 minutes before the start of class.
What should I do if I’m running late?
Please call the studio so we can hold your bike from you. If we do not hear from you by the time class has started, there is a chance your bike will be released to someone on the waitlist or a rider requesting to switch bikes. If you’re going to be late for your first time, we will reschedule you for a different class so the check in and set up process is not rushed.
Where should I park?
There is ample street parking a free parking structure on Bright Ave. directly across from the studio.
Where can I put my belonging during class?
When you book a class, it includes a free locker rental for your belongings. Our lockers allow you to set a unique code during use so you do not need to bring a lock. Personal belongings, especially cell phones, are not allowed in the room during class.
Is there a height and/or age requirement?
